The full story of “What's Up, Gringo?! (¿Quiubo Gringo!)” is an Adventure tale that takes us all throughout the Americas… blended in are elements of comedy, romance, action, drama, and suspense. The story centers on Bradford Palmer, a young, elitist New York financier whose inner circle turns against him when they see an opportunity to steal his family’s money from him. This conspiracy traps him in the foreign country of Colombia, where he has his identity stolen and is left destitute. In order to get back on his feet, Bradford Palmer must embrace the foreign culture he finds himself and learn lessons in humility, faith, and family, which give him a new lease on life… The third and final act sees fate force Bradford Palmer to confront those who conspired against him and exact his revenge. In Bildungsroman fashion, he must reconcile his past life in New York with his new one in Colombia… will he prevail? What’s up, Gringo?! ¡¿Qué hubo, Gringo?!

Heck yeah!

I invite you to watch Full Script Movie Pitch video above which pitches the narrative, its artistic integrity, and the commercial appeal of my 130 page bilingual movie script (with copyright & international registration protection) and this project, in general...

Additionally, please check out my short film of the same title that is inspired by my full script (but has a different/fractured narrative). I shot this short in Medellin, NYC, and Mexico and it features established actors like Carrell Lasso, Federico Rivera, and Camilo Trujillo, from series like Narcos; newer talents like myself and Laura Castillo; and various other nonprofessional friends and family that I brought on. It was directed by Santiago Montoya and I edited this YouTube version.
